RPG Cables is one of the oldest and largest fully integrated cable manufacturers in India based out of Mumbai, India. The brand name 'Asian' recently marked its 50 glorious years of existence.

As RPG Cables Limited, the company was the outcome of the merger of Asian Cables Ltd (Thane), RPG Telecom Ltd (Mysore) and UPCOM Cables Ltd (Rae Bareli) in 1995.

In early 2008, the company became a part of the Transmission Sector of the RPG Group having KEC International Ltd (KEC) as its flagship company. Recently RPG Cables merged with KEC from March 2010 with a view to consolidate KEC’s presence in the post-generation power value chain.

Products and Services

The Company manufactures a range of Control & Power Cables that are critical to the distribution network of power utilities and for Industrial expansion. Company is equipped and has expertise to provide end-to-end Total Cable Solutions for Power Evacuation. The Company also manufactures Optic Fiber and Jelly Filled Copper Telecom Cables for the Telecom Network of Basic Telephone companies. Our reliable and superior quality cables ensure the continuity of supply and longevity of distribution networks.

The company is well equipped with manufacturing and testing facilities for the entire range of Power Cables and Telecom Cables as per IS / IEC / BS / TEC ( Dept. of Telecommunication) / RDSO and various International Specifications.

The Company has a predominant 'direct sale' model with 90% of sales made directly from the manufacturing sites to the customers with no stocking points. The balance is through a network of dealers who further enhance the reach of the Company and ensure timely deliveries to customers.

We are the pioneer in manufacture of XLPE cables in India in the year 1978 and currently one of the only 3 companies in India to manufacture and supply 132 kV cables. The company is able to produce quality cables that meet the global standards and have been successfully tested in approved independent laboratories.
