KEC International Q1 FY10 revenues up by 21%; PAT up by 50% -7/28/2009

Mumbai, July 28, 2009: KEC International Ltd., a global leader in the power transmission EPC business and an RPG group company, today announced its unaudited consolidated results for quarter ended 30th June 2009.

The company’s net sales were Rs. 726.77 crore as against Rs. 600.14 crore for the corresponding quarter last year registering a growth of 21.10%. PAT grew by an impressive 50.47% to Rs. 38.40 crore from Rs. 25.52 crore in corresponding quarter last year.

The company’s order book as on 30th June 2009 was Rs. 5155 crore of which 58% comes from the South Asia market and the balance 42% from the International market.
