In a great moment of pride and achievement for all of us, KEC was recognized internationally for its best practices in quality systems and approach asthe KEC-Cables, Vadodara team won the ‘Gold Award’ @ ICQCC 2016 (International Convention on Quality Control Circles) held at Bangkok, Thailand. As a pre-requisite, only those case studies which were adjudged as ‘par excellence and excellent presentation’ in the National Conventions could participate in this prestigious International Convention. With over 230 teams participating from 12 countries (India, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, China, Japan, Malaysia, Korea, Indonesia, Bangladesh & Taiwan), KEC-Cables Vadodara emerged winners and took home the Gold.

The Association of QC Headquarters of Thailand (QCHQ) and Department of Industrial Promotion, Ministry of Industry, jointly organized ICQCC 2016 at Bangkok between August 23-26, 2016. In the same letter, PGCIL has also applauded KEC for supporting them in completing the 400 kV D/C (Quad) Nalbari Bongaigaon transmission line by executing the offload works despite facing difficulties which included unprecedented rains, floods and acute ROW problem.

KEC Tower Test Station and Material (Quality) Testing Laboratories of Butibori, Jabalpur and Jaipur plants have received the prestigious ISO 17025:2005 accreditation certificate from National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories (NABL)

NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories) maintains linkages with the international bodies like International Laboratory Accreditation Co-operation (ILAC) and Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Co-operation (APLAC). NABL is a full time member of ILAC and APLAC.

KEC International Ltd. has won 'The SKOCH Golden Award' for its Haldia River Crossing Project on 21st November 2014.

This award was presented by Shri Venkaiah Naidu, Union Minister for Urban Development to Mr. Randeep Narang, Executive Director, South Asia T&D on behalf of KEC.

KEC’s River Crossing Project in Haldia is a REMARKABLE ACHIEVEMENT which has given a new spark to the economy.

This project powered by IMMENSE technical capability and SUPERB execution, established an electric transmission line across the Hooghly River, a vital trade and commerce passage of east India. The project involved supply, erection and stringing of the river crossing section of the 400 kV transmission line between Haldia Power Generation Plant and the Subhashgram Sub-station grid. The height of individual river crossing tower is 775 feet which is about 75% height of Eiffel Tower. It is a one of its kind project and has contributed to the transformation of commerce, communication and transportation activities in the region.

Utkrishta Puraskar has been conferred to KEC International in Best Transmission Line contractor category award, acknowledging the Company’s contribution to Indian Transmission Line Industry. KEC is the only company to have received this award in the Big Contractor Category. The award was presented by Mr. R. N. Sahbhagita Puraskar has been conferred to KEC International for its support to PGCIL in difficult projects “which is in difficult terrain and requires urgent completion etc.” i.e. offloaded Transmission Line projects. The Company received the Gold Trophy in the 'Merchant Exporter' category which is the highest recognition bestowed to India's largest exporter of engineering goods. The Company received this award four times in the last five years – FY08, FY09, FY11 and FY12.

b) Top Exporter Award - Regional level - KEC received EEPC award for export excellence in the 'Merchant Exporter' category in the year FY07 at regional level.
