The Company has a successful track record of executing projects in inhospitable terrains. For instance, the specialised transmission lines built by KEC span huge raging rivers, such as Nile in Egypt, Niger in Nigeria and Hoogly & Ganges in India, the Arabian Sea, deserts of Saudi Arabia, Libya and Rajasthan, mountains of Algeria, India and Mozambique, war-torn regions of Iraq & Afghanistan, dense forests in India (MP, Bihar & Jharkhand) and snowfields of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. It has the ability to overcome challenges of difficult climatic conditions and execute projects in +40° temperature in the Middle East region to -40° temperature in the CIS region.
Having powered infrastructure development across 100 countries, KEC's robust project management, manufacturing and operational excellence, advanced engineering and design capabilities, and global business acumen are aided by well-defined growth strategies and an outperformance embedded mindset. It has erected some of the heaviest and tallest transmission towers globally. It has designed and erected very complex transmission line with multi circuit/river crossing towers having height of above 200 meters and weight of 1800 MT per tower.

Technology – With a major thrust on Digitalisation, KEC has rolled out several key initiatives including Drones for monitoring project progress and stringing power conductors, Geospatial technologies for surveys, Connected Factory and Digital Asset Management, among others. Additionally, the Company continues to embrace the latest solutions in mechanized and innovative construction technologies, especially in transmission, substation, railway and civil sectors, such as pioneering the use of Covered Conductor technology in India, implementation of Sag Bridges and Gin Poles for tower erection, specialized Climbing Formwork technology for silo construction and deployment of Track Master machines for laying railway tracks.
