2021 | KEC acquired Spur Infrastructure Private Limited, an EPC company in the Oil and Gas Pipelines sector. The acquisition enables KEC to accelerate the growth of the Oil & Gas Pipelines business. Acquisition of Spur Infrastructure is in line with KEC’s strategy to diversify into adjacent areas of growth. KEC’s proven project management capabilities and extensive experience of executing cross-country linear projects and managing Right of Way (RoW), along with Spur Infrastructure’s technical knowhow, experienced manpower and relevant pre-qualifications will enable KEC to capture the lucrative growth opportunities in the oil and gas cross-country pipelines EPC sector in India as well as in international markets. |
2020 | KEC acquired a state-of-the-art automated transmission tower manufacturing facility in mainland Dubai, with a capacity of 50,000 tonnes per annum. The acquisition provides us a strategic foothold to cater to markets with high growth potential in the Middle East and other regions. It also enhances our credentials to expand our business in the MENA region on account of local price preferences and increases our cost competitiveness due to fiscal benefits. |

2015 | First 765 kV GIS Substation in Thiruvalam, which is also a first-of-its-kind in South India. |
2014 | Executed one of the most prestigious river crossing projects in West Bengal involving tower construction in mid river and along the shore. A first of its kind in India, the total height of individual River Crossing (RC) tower structure is ~236 meters (775 feet). This is about 75% of the height of Eiffel Tower. The weight of each RC tower is ~1790 MTs. Secured first turnkey order in Solar space. |
