KEC International Ltd. Wins Rs. 46 Crore ADB Funded Contracts in Madhya Pradesh -1/11/2008

Mumbai, March 11 :KEC International Ltd., a global leader in the power transmission EPC sector and part of the US$2 Billion RPG Group, today announced that the company has been awarded two contracts by Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Limited (MPPTCL)

These contracts are for the supply and construction of a 220 kV Double Circuit Transmission line from Dewas to Ashta (128 Km.) and LILO at Jabalpur on Birsinghpur – Amarkantak Transmission Line (150 Km.) in the state of Madhya Pradesh, on turnkey basis respectively. The job involves supply of towers, erection and commissioning.

The total value of the two contracts is Rs.46 crore. Both the projects are scheduled to be completed by July 2009.

These Transmission Lines will strengthen the MPPTCL transmission network and are funded by ADB.
